Laurie is thrilled to be associated with The Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas offering you classes for teens and adults. Next fall 2012, there will be added a juried children's art class for those 8-16 gifted in art. Laurie Pace has over 30 years of studio teaching experience and is honored to be working with DAG to bring these classes to Lake Highlands residents and to the city of Dallas. 

Art classes are for all levels of learners. There is no right or wrong in creativity and art.  Most lessons provided are nothing more than problem solving with a paint brush, pencil or other media. Students will learn skills with every exercise and level.  Art appeals to all senses and will enhance a student's perception in all things in life. Art has recorded history since the beginning of time.  An artist played a part in creating almost everything you use in your life.  Artists learn to be more observant of their surroundings and begin to devleop the ability to see 'outside the box'. Creativity provides seratonin for the brain and doing art provides a boost in self esteem. Art offers an opportunity to make your life richer filled with energy and color.
